WHAT SIZE OF NESTO PAD SHOULD I BUY FOR MY BABY?
The Nesto Pad is available in two sizes, MINI size( 0-8 months) and MAXI (0-12months). The MINI is intended for babies approximately 0-8 months. The MAXI is approximately 30% longer and wider than the MINI pad and is intended for tots approximately 6-12 months. Our experience is that parents seem to think their baby has outgrown the MINI size before baby is uncomfortable. As your baby grows, unbuckle the MINI pad to give their legs some room.
We also do not encourage the use of the pad more than 6 months, as the transition for the baby to the crib should start from 4 months onwards. With time babies need more space to stretch their limbs and babies like to move around and crawl more often.
It is best advised that babies should use the pad more and more for lounging/play time and tummy time in the growing months and slowly help the baby to transition from the pad to the crib for nap time.
