Frequently Asked Questions
TOG stands for “Thermal Overall Grade.” It measures how much warmth a fabric provides. The higher the TOG, the warmer the sleeping bag, helping parents choose the right one for the room temperature.
It depends on your nursery’s room temperature:
- 0.6 TOG – Best for warm weather or rooms above 24°C (75°F)
- 1.2 TOG – Ideal for moderate climates, rooms between 21–24°C (70–75°F)
- 2.5 TOG – Perfect for cooler months or rooms below 20°C (68°F)
Use a room thermometer to guide your choice.
No extra blanket is needed. Each sleeping bag is designed to replace loose blankets, keeping your baby safe and snug throughout the night.
Depending on the TOG and temperature:
- For 0.6 TOG, use a short-sleeve bodysuit.
- For 1.2 TOG, use a long-sleeve bodysuit or sleepsuit.
- For 2.5 TOG, layer a full-sleeve bodysuit with a vest if needed.
Yes! They’re made from breathable, hypoallergenic cotton hosiery that washes beautifully and retains shape. Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent.
Choose by your baby’s height, not age. The bag should fit snugly at the neckline and arms so your baby can’t slip inside. Always refer to the size chart on the product page.

Absolutely. The hip-friendly roomy shape allows babies to wriggle, kick, and stretch naturally. If you choose the footie option, toddlers can also walk or stand safely while staying snug.
Most babies use sleeping bags until around 2 years old. Once your child becomes more mobile, climbing, or ready for a toddler bed, you may transition them to pajamas or a toddler quilt.
We recommend at least two sleeping bags in each TOG rating—so you always have one spare when the other is in the wash. Having all 0.6 TOG,1.2 TOG & 2.5 TOG ensures you’re covered for seasonal changes and different room temperatures.
